The camera housing, is it really glass? is it scratch resistant? I want to wipe the dust and sometimes when I pull the phone out, I hold on top the camera by accident. I am scared of scratching it when wiping. I am trying to use eye glasses micro fibre cloth to wipe after wetting with water.

here's the problem with your durability test: no one is going to attack their phone with a knife, but you never tested it in a very common real world situation that breaks a lot of phones: dropping it.

I learnt the hard way so you don't have to. These phones glass will smash extremely easily. Buy a case and screen protector for it, it'll save you an expensive Google repair bill. I can recommend the ESR stand case, no prizes for guessing the most useful feature of the case. It has saved me more times than I can say since having the repair.
